PIVDEN Steelplast 5.45×39 mm 30-Round Windowed Magazine for AK-74

The PIVDEN Steelplast windowed 5.45×39 mm magazine is a curved, double-stack box magazine with a capacity of 30 rounds, designed for the AK-74 platform and compatible models.

The magazine body is injection-molded from PA6-GF30 — PA6 polyamide reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Glass-fiber reinforcement provides increased strength, rigidity, mechanical load resistance and wear resistance compared with unreinforced polyamide.

The specified operating temperature range for the material is −30 to +95 °C.

The magazine body features an integrated transparent polycarbonate inspection window, which allows visual inspection of the ammunition inside. The polycarbonate window is molded directly into the magazine body during manufacturing.

The follower and locking plate are also manufactured from polyamide reinforced with 30% glass fiber. The spring is made from EN 10270-1-SH steel and phosphate-treated for additional corrosion protection. The magazine features a stamped metal bottom plate.

The magazine can be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. The design also incorporates a mounting interface for compatible speed-loading devices.

Compatibility includes AK-74, AK-74M, AKS-74, AKS-74U, RPK-74/74M and AK-105, as well as compatible civilian models chambered in 5.45×39 mm.
